Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Wing It!! (the game at playwingit.com) collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@playwingit.com.

Playing without an account

You can play without signing in. Your progress (coins, birds, hats, best scores, achievements and settings) is saved in your browser's storage on your device. The game also saves its own files and songs on your device so it can work offline. This stays on your device, and you can delete it by clearing your browser's data for playwingit.com.

If you sign in with Google

Sign-in uses Google's Firebase Authentication. Google shares your account ID, name, email address and profile picture with the game. We use them to:

• Show you on the leaderboard. Your leaderboard entry shows your first name or the nickname you choose, your country flag if you pick one, your best scores (all-time and this week's, for the weekly tournament) and the birds you used. Everyone who plays can see it.
• Save your progress. Your coins, birds, hats, achievements and purchases are stored in our database (Google Firebase) so they follow you to other devices. Only you can see these.
• Friends. You get a private friend ID that only you can see. If you add friends, your name, flag and scores are shared with the players you send requests to or become friends with.

We don't show your email address to other players.

Purchases

Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details. We receive an order number, the item you bought and whether payment went through, so we can give you your item. We keep this record on Cloudflare, which hosts the game. Stripe's handling of your information is covered by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Ads

The game shows ads only when you choose to watch one, for example to continue a run. Ads are provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, including ads based on your interests where the law allows. You can learn how Google uses information at How Google uses information from sites that use its services, and change ad personalization at My Ad Center. Where required (for example in the EU and UK), you'll be asked for your consent first.

Other services we use

• Cloudflare hosts the game. Like any website host, it processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver the game and keep it secure.
• Google Fonts provides the game's lettering, so your browser contacts Google when it loads them.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal information.
• We don't ask for your address, phone number or date of birth.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your leaderboard entry and saved progress while your account is in use. Leaderboard seasons may be reset. You can delete your account at any time with Delete my account on the leaderboard: it deletes your leaderboard entry, saved progress, friends and friend ID, and your sign-in for Wing It!!. You can also ask us to delete it: email support@playwingit.com from the email address you sign in with. Information on your device can be removed by clearing your browser's data for playwingit.com.

Children

Wing It!! is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you're a parent and believe your child has signed in, email us and we'll delete their information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your information, and to object to some uses. Email support@playwingit.com and we'll help.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
